Far sturdier than other jack stands. More expensive, but certainly well worth the price. Have used them routinely for seven years, and can tell that they are made to last. I would not trust getting under a car on other jack stands.

60 dollars compared to 400 dollars for a platform to do back and lats. Works perfectly, but I need to find a slotted rubber pad, which will keep the bar straight and not roll.

These jack stands for 70 bucks for 1 stand is a joke. The tolerances between the BASE and the shaft isnt close enough to allow stability of the object your trying to hold. I used 4 of these and they made the car so unstable that with 1 finger push the whole car would move. No way I would trust this being under it. Go to harbor freight pay 79 bucks and get the 6 ton stands that come with the extra pin to make sure everything isn't going to fall on you .The paint right out of the box on all 4 of them is already coming off. The welds are crap, half the tops of the stands are not even level and when you try to use them on a flat surface only half of the pad contacts the object you are trying to hold.Really wished these would have been better.

I like the reversible bar that goes in the middle but the base of these could be wider to provide stability. The can easily tip over if they are not positioned just right. So depending on what you are using these for just be aware you might need ones with a larger leg spacing to prevent an incident of them being knocked over.

Honestly the price of these compared to other jacks may seem steep but these just give me the peace of mind knowing that I'll be safe under my car when working on it. Definitely recommend these for any BMW worked perfectly for my F80 M3 Being that BMWs need to use the jack pad to lift the car up.

Definitely pricey, but I didn't have much of a choice given the lack of options for flat top jack stands. One of the stands had sharp metal burrs that I had to file down and the holes for the pins had leftover material that I had to punch out with a hammer and chisel. I expected better quality control given the price but they're fine functionally.
