The body, hands, tail, etc. were fine. The biggest problem was the mane, or lack thereof.The one that came with thwe costume was too scrawny, not at like the one in the picture. I think the picture must have been doctored - it shows a full, fierce mane. The one on the costume is paltry & hardly hairy. I'm going to have to make my own mane.

I bought this for my boyfriend, and just like the other reviews stated, the mane isnt enough. Instead of wearing it on his head, we pulled it down so it was just around his neck and painted his face.. it actually looked pretty good! and super comfortable

Bought this for my husband (6'5", 235 lbs) because we needed a lion costume and couldn't find any that were cute in an XL- all of them were "one size fits all" which wouldn't work for a big guy. It fits and looks good, but if he lifts his arms, it becomes more of a "camel" costume than a lion costume, if you catch my drift. A little short in the stride. It'll work for one night. The fur sheds like crazy, but if you go outside (DON'T do this in the house!!!) and spend a few minutes brushing the fur around, it'll brush out most of the loose fuzzies and fluff it out.

This product is true money for value.The sizing is a little on the small size so order one size bigger than normal, because it an elasticised wrist & feet jumpsuit you have plenty room to pull up - but better to get bigger to allow crotch room.The only thing is the headpiece is not as full or elaborate as pictured but I pegged it up a night before wearing to give it a fuller look. Matched with the cat makeup set it was an awesome look & comfortable too.

This is a reasonable costume for the price. The mane didn't look as full as it does in the catalog, and the faux hair tended to shed, producing some itching. Otherwise fine.

Disappointed in the head piece...it wasn't as full as the picture appeared...and in the picture it shows ears....there were no ears....the fur shed EVERYWHERE....so I had to purchase a better headpiece.

Buying the lion costume to wear to a costum party, I went by myself and left with a date. Yup, the bumble bee who was a young woman I had noticed in another department buzzed right over when I arrived in this "king of the jungle" costume. I am now roaring about what a great purchase I made. It fit prefectly and was easy to put on.

This costume worked for my husband when we needed a non-"cowardly lion" costume. We needed Aslan (Narnia) and this was a close as we could find. Unfortunately, the back opening goes all the way down to the waist with only a tie at the neck, so I had tohave a zipper put in. There goes another $20. The mane and wrist/ankle hair does shed quite a bit also. In summary, it worked for us with a little work and a lot of makeup! But not the best quality.

This was a nice costume for my wife. The quality was great. my only complaint is that the pictures were a little misleading. The mane was not as full as pictured, but it was still a nice costume.
