Great purse if you are planning to be a girl pirate. Purse is well-made and pretty roomy for a purse that looks like a pirate chest. The Chains on the side are not connected, which allows the user to either make the handle short or long. Like having the option. I am very happy with this purchase!!!

This pirate chest purse/bag is just perfect for any sized pirate. All of my modern needs fit inside, (mobile, cards, coins, and in my case, my smokes too.) and little ones just love it for the treasures that they can hide/find inside. It's light to carry around, and moves easily when chasing the ship sails too. My daughter is fully dressed by this costume shop, and we will always return for more costumes for mid and end of year productions. A fantastic finishing touch to any Pirate costume. Thanks for saving me time and energy. P.S I have made a few minor alterations to my girls dress but it was only because I thought it was a bit to short on her.

A great little buy to go with the captain hook costume! Not really great to put anything in it I put chocolate coins in there, fake treasure, went down very well. But as for make up and phone and money I would not advise to use it for this purpose as it only shuts with velcro so use another mini handbag for you goods.

Yes, like the other reviews said, the purse is small, but it is the exact size as stated in the description. Really, it's as big as you would need to take to any sort of Halloween party... cash, cards, keys and makeup all fit just fine inside it.It's well-made, though I will probably put a heavier chain on it than the one it came with. Overall, I'm very pleased.

this is a perfect addition to any costume. add a few coins in it to add to the perfect addition. i loved it, i wasn't sure what to expect but when i got it it was exactly what i wanted. its perfect just the right size, and went well with my costume #21754
