I love this product and the price for it is unbeatable.. when this came in my son was so excited we had to go get batteries for it right away so we could try it out!! It was fun seeing how each button would change the sound of your voice and he can not wait to use it on Halloween.. I even had to hide it from him so he wouldn't keep playing with it and run the batteries out before then.. we had so much fun with this!!

The voice changer looks exactly as pictured. The microphone could maybe use a little more sensitivity, but all in all it seems like a good value as a stand alone item or if you want to "hack" it for other uses. The unit bascially converts your voice to an electronic form and then does inflection to it. Be warned, it may not go to the extremes you expect or desire each sound effect to provide. It definitely does a basic job. I like the robot effect, but I'm actually going to use it for a Star Wars storm trooper voice effect.

My son is having fun with this - but it is very difficult to change the settings to different voices and there isn't a setting that makes you sound scary - just robotic, echo, high pitch etc. He likes it - but for real effect - I would go with something different.
