Well, it is what it is. Cheap steel welded together, poorly. Good armor is dished into shape and is not made through welded sections. If you're a bigger guy, say 230lbs, it won't fit, even if you're only wearing it over a tshirt, forget wearing it over chainmaile or a padded gambeson. You might be able to bend it to fit better, but thats a bandaid at best. The corners of the pauldrons are likely to get caught under the beast and backplates and dig into you. If you want a cheap set of armor and you're a M to S build, you'll likely be ok, but buyer beware you do get the cheapness that comes with this. I returned mine and will instead spend the extra to have a custom set built to my measurements from a better manufacturer.

I'm glad I was home when this came in. My son was gonna open it on the kitchen table. They are in plastic bags and covered in grease. No biggie as that prevents rust which I appreciate. Just had to show him how to open the bags and clean off the excess. Didn't come with instructions so it did take a minute to figure out how to buckle the belts. After all that it looked great on him and he loved it!! The only thing I suggest tho is something with shoulder pads underneath as that was his only complaint wearing it.

U can't go wrong with a simple armor piece, feels realistic and the weight to prove it, I recommend getting what is called a gambson though because the top of the armor does dig into ur shoulders(depending if ur small or not, I'm sort of in the middle between big and small) and the shoulders are a little sharp and a gambson would help avoid injury, overall I got my money's worth
