Never will I order from this company again. I recived my order on Sep 4, the Zipper was missing from this bag. Well I bought two of them. I contacted the company immeditly. on the 5 they replied on 5, I sent picture on the 5. I got a response on the 7 telling me that they were going to send me a replacement and return info. So I wait for it to come in the mail. 5 DAYS go by and now I am being told that I have to send mine back and wait for them to send me one after they recive it. So they lie. Dont buy from here..

The one I have is about 3 years old now, I use it all the time and just love it. It's getting a bit worn (I do abuse it), but I'm still not going to toss it. I'm getting the new one to use for work. I also bought one for a diaper bag for my daughter to use.

I wanted a canvas messenger bag to use for work and play. I have had the bag for a few days and it has fulfilled all my needs. For what I can tell the bag seems to be very durable. I read almost every review on here before purchasing and some people seem to have gotten one that is constructed different and less durable. I believe I got one of the better of the two. So sorry if yours sucks. Pockets are great sized, I love how each has a zipper for its own. I have a 750ml water bottle that fits fine in the side pockets as well. Overall I love this bag and am happy with the purchase. I do wish there was a divider in the main compartment for a laptop though. Other than that, buy it.

First of all, I never had owned a shoulder bag in my life before, but after years of carrying my regular backpack with books and what not along with another bag just for my laptop, I decided that maybe I should try a hybrid of the two, and this was the one that caught my eye.Pockets:1.The bag has two pockets in the front (under the flap) and a slip on the back of the bag (you could easily fit a folder in here).2.There are two pockets on each side of the bag, and it does fit a water bottle but if you have a 16inch + laptop inside the bag, you can only use one side pocket as the other one becomes pushed upon.3.There is a little pouch inside the bag, on the back lining of the bag, so basically on the other side of the outside slip on the bag.The strap is adjustable, so no need to worry about it fitting you or not (I'm 6' tall and it was more than sufficient). However, it does get kinda heavy, and if you have to walk a lot say with a laptop and few notebooks in there, it might hurt your shoulders as the strap does not have a padding.Either than that, it's worth every dollar, and I think it's a great substitute to the traditional backpack especially for students!

I have found this to be a great bag to carry every day, even when I've loaded it beyond it's capacity. I usually carry a micro 4/3 camera w/ lens and an iPad in addition to a folio or notebook in the main compartment. For those concerned about padding it's not difficult to pick some foam up at a craft store and make your own insert. I did this but have found I don't always put the insert in as I don't find myself using this bag in situations where I'm concerned about the items inside getting damaged from being banged around. The thick strap makes this a very comfortable bag to carry.
