Good jacket. I bought this to replace a Dickies of the same design with a failed zipper. This jacket is the same design and size as the Dickies (XL regular) but the material is a lot softer and the zipper is smoother to operate and better quality. I'm 6'334; just under 300 with broad shoulders and not too much of a gut. The XL regular comes down to my belt line and makes for a neat fit without being too tight. The only downside is that it does not have a inside pocket, which is a bummer. Great buy for the money anyway, I'd pick this over the Dickies despite the lack of the inside pocket.

The coat runs large in the chest and shoulders but short in the waist and sleeves. I normally wear XL shirts and jackets so I ordered the XL, but in this I had to drop to a large. Now the chest and shoulders fit great, but the sleeves and waist are two inches too short. I didn't return it a second time to order a large/tall. That's what I'll get next time.It wears nicely and is warm if you are working and moving. I've worn it down into the 30's and stayed warm if I kept moving. This is not a warm coat for sitting still or being a supervisor who does nothing but likes to look like they still "work" in the shop...you know the type.It doesn't tolerate much welding, I've burnt plenty of pinholes in it and accidentally melted a quarter sized hole in the outer layer with grinding sparks, but I only weld/grind heavily maybe once/twice a month.
