We used these for a fourth grade play. I was concerned about them being too large and falling off the students' heads, but they were perfect. They arrived well before the performance and allowed the students to practice wearing them while dancing.

We used this Hat with the George Washington Heroes In History Kit for my 7 year old. It worked great.

Even though this hat pops up as a suggested compliment to the CHILD's patriot costume, this is NOT a child's hat! It is a very good hat -- looks good, good quality, but I purchased it for my 4 year old son to wear with his patriot costume. Didn't even come close to fitting. And I'm not handy, so rigging something to keep it on his head was not easy (nor effective). It's a good hat, just be warned if you're clicking on a child's suggestion. Get out your glue gun and string! The funny thing is, it barely fits the guy in the picture, so I thought it just might be a kids's hat, despite the picture of an adult wearing it. Wrong!
