I bought this for our puppy. The sound of this chicken is funny. It is affordable and looks crazy. I like it a lot for our puppy.

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who loves rubber chickens, and it was wonderful! Great sound maker (loud too), and overall was just what I expected.

I bought this as a gift for my dad this last Xmas. (We're weird people.) He opened it and laughed so hard he cried. We've squeezed it sporadically, so I can't give an accurate opinion on the "durability" of the chicken, but it's rubber/plastic so I'm sure one day it will start to fall apart. Doesn't look like anytime soon, though. Considering what it is, it's made pretty well. As for the "educational value", realistically, there isn't much. But maybe it could teach someone with a stick up their butt to laugh, and that is a lesson that could change lives. By the way, if you haven't checked out videos of this thing, IT IS LOUD. And I didn't even by the largest one they make! My dad and I have fun with it in our apartment (with the very thin walls). Whenever our obnoxious neighbors (who we've complained about numerous times) get too loud, we go to the chicken.
