The box extender levels and supports a wiring device when the box is too far back from the wall surface. Adjusts to 1" to 1-1/2" and functions with all standard devices, switches, and GFCI's. The box extenders can be easily trimmed for adjoining multiple gang boxes.

I put up bead-board on the lower portion of my walls and these worked well. I liked the strong rim around the outer edge which made for a secure install. I have an older house and they were a little large for the very tiny receptical boxes, but I was able to make them work. I would buy again if I need to extend any more receptical boxes. I did have to buy a bit longer 6/3234; screws for the receptical but no big problem.

They fit just fine and did the job they were intended for. The double outlet boxes did not work, but the single ones did.

Seems like it might work. But needs long screws. Now I have to figure out how to get them (2) online all I can find is big amounts not just 2. Since I'm homebound going to store not easy.
