Stand folds up very small. Unfortunately, the legs don't take an accidental stepping on very well, and now it has a permanent list from level. The tabs that hold the "desk" closed when it's folded in half should be a tiche longer so they can support the bottom of the music pages when the desk is open and there are a lot of pages to hold. The knob that loosens behind the desk and allows the desk to slide to the end of the extension standard and fold parallel will not hold the desk tight enough when centered on the standard. The good is that you can turn the standard and desk until the music doesn't slide. Stand does fairly well in the wind when playing outdoors. Bag is just barely large enough for the stand and has very little room for the light and its bag. Stand bag is good quality and hasn't ripped yet. Good stand for the most part, but doesn't hold up well to the rigors of travel.

This is a good, light weight product. The vendor is straight up with great customer support. Are you ready for this? They called me before shipping to be sure I would be happy (they had to substitute - they were out of what I had originally ordered). The merchant from Florida We need more people like this on the internet. It came with a slight dent, which was easily fixed on my end. This is a very good portable stand.

My advise: use lighter metal... Many musicians (as myself) aren't so young.... Lighter metal would help. Needless to say that the music stand must stay sturdy as it is now.Thank youDr. Avi Eilam Amzallag

This stand is very sturdy. It collapses into a single unit (the sheet music holder folds in half but does not have to be separated from the tripod) for easy transport in the supplied carrying bag.All hardware seems beefy. The folding all metal sheet music holder is excellent and all the high impact plastic parts look like they will last a long time. The strap handles on the carry bag are not adjustable but they are long enough to allow the bag to be carried over your shoulder. The only thing this music stand will not do well is to hold heavy music books with the sheet music holder tilted at an angle. If you will be using thin books or just sheet music like I tend to do, this stand will please you.I bought this Audio2000 AST444 music stand along with an On-Stage MSA-9508 Posi-Lok Side Mount Boom and a Black 19 Inch Goose neck to hold my Sennheiser microphone. This set up is a good match for my Roland AC-60 amp. All in all, this is a pro set up for the solo artist who is a sheet music cripple like myself {8^DI found all three mentioned items (two from one source, the music stand from another) for $70 shipped. The On-Stage boom is all metal - should last a lifetime. I'm hoping the same for the music stand but time will tell. Seems well worth the money though and I'd buy another Audio2000 AST444 for sure, if it was ever lost or stolen.

I travel with my harp often and needed a folding, portable music stand. I was a little hesitant to purchase Audio 2000's version, as there were no reviews. But what the heck, I ordered it.It arrived promptly. I have to say that I am really impressed! It is very sturdy and well made. It unbelieveably folds and unfolds easily and is all one piece. No loose, separate parts that can get lost. The carrying bag is more than adequate. I anticipate that this music stand will last me for years.Highly recommended, and worth the extra money over flimsier stands.
