The COLORstrip™ features built-in programs with automatic and sound-active triggers, and allows access to popular preset RGB mixed colors: yellow, purple, cyan and white. The fixture is equipped with pre-programmed flash, color chase, sequential color chase, color mixing and color fade patterns. Jacking the COLORstrip™ into a DMX controller gives the programmer access to all pre-programmed features as well as to speed adjustments for fade and flash. At 38" long, 2.5" wide, and weighing less than 5 lbs., it is ideal for creating "runway" effects without cluttering up the catwalk.

Chauvet DJ is the superior stage lighting product. We have used these for church stage lighting along with Par Can lights which are also excellent!

Quite a hefty price for a washer, but it is as described! It has around 24 color modes and you can change the speed of each note from 1 to 100. It has DMX in/out to daisy chain other DMX lights. Do note that this is an RGB light and not a color changing LED light. What this means is that there are only red, green, and blue LEDs that create different colors depending on brightness and combinations. Overall, I've had it for 3 months and have left it on for extended periods of time (24hrs), and have had no problems with it. I would only recommend this type of light as a wall washer (which is what it's designed for). UPDATE (Jan. 8, 2018): I've had this for about 6 months now and a lot of the LED's have gone out, roughly 15 of them. The light still works great but dropped one star because of this at it slightly affects the color output.

Love it. Great full lighting in a small package. Good for lighting your DJ Frontboard. Can even function nicely for a small room, creates great effect. Very very happy with it.

Overall, a good product for the money. I've ordered several over the past few years and they keep improving the product. I would, however, wish they would orient the control board to the side, rather then on top. I've had to modify some to fit my needs. Just seems that no matter how you mount the light it's difficult to get to the controls on the back of the unit.
