Worked great for my automotive installation and I think it's U.S. made. I ended up buying another to install in a second car.

I've been using this woofer as a replacement sub since the original foam surround came apart. My Klipsh 2.1 was purchased back in 2003 and did it's job well for what it is/was. Comparing this woofer with a factory replacement I have to say this one does in fact provide better sound and louder volume though initially it was stiff and required break in time. Just over one year later and it is much better and seemingly a perfect replacement though now I'm using 2 Polk TSi 100's and a Dayton Audio 2.1 channel amp.

These are great, I added them to the front doors of my 2012 Civic along with a Taramps 440 amp, and the bass is incredible. I ordered 2 more to put in the back.

I use these for many speaker projects that involve just this woofer and a Peeeless tweeter. I like to cross the tweeter at around 5khz. These woofers are super efficient and reproduce very strong bass down to 40hz and good bass at 30hz. It's the only woofer of this size that I will use. Let me mention that I use a capacitor to hi-pass my tweeter at around 5khz, but do not use a coil to low-pass this woofer. I let it roll of naturally. Sounds great.

Replaced the front door sub in a 2004 Silverado that was blown. It does the job fine. Might be as good as stock, but I think the other stock speaker carries the bass better. It's fine for a stock replacement.

I powered this sub with a small 2.1 channel amplifier for 20 bucks. It hits hard, great range, clean crisp sound.

This woofer was ordered as a replacement for an older Advent woofer which had an open voice coil. I'm happy to say that this woofer surpassed my expectations! It's built well, looks like a quality product, but most of all, it sounds great! Looks like the ole Advents will be sticking around for a while longer. I believe I'll be ordering an extra one in case the other speaker's woofer decides to go out!

Used this speaker to replace a blown mid range in a 20 year old set of DCM speakers. Sounds great and holes even lined up. Saved me from having to buy a new set of speakers. Great value.

.. for a computer setup: I've a 2.1 lepai amp and an old passive 6.5 sub that was rattling and howling... and with this driver it all sounds surprisingly decent for what it is.
