Let me start by saying a lot of the low reviews are people saying this didn't connect to their system. This microphone will only connect to a Shure wireless transmitter. It has the TA4F (4 pin mini-connector). If you don't have a Shure system, don't buy this! Additionally, this microphone is only designed to work with a wireless system that feeds into a powered sound system (or a phantom power system). If you don't have a good PA (like a Fender Passport) or a sound system (like a Peavy PVI 6500) them look elsewhere. This isn't going to work on your little Karaoke machine. For the money, this is a good buy. As long as you remember you are buying a $20-ish headset mic, you'll be happy. This is a very 34;hot34; microphone. You'll need to watch out for feedback. Additionally, this is an omnidirectional mic so it picks up a lot of extra sound. To get this to work nicely, you'll need to start VERY LOW on your gain (volume) and increase slowly. Not a Countryman, but definitely better than I had hoped for.

Comfortable, light and sounds clean. The cord to the bodypack makes no noise as it rubs against clothing (FANTASTIC) and the microphone delivers great vocal sound for the price.

I use these sorts of mics while giving lectures to university students in a large lecture theatre. I bought this to replace an Anchor Audio EM-TA4F over the ear mic that was beginning to give up the ghost. With the single ear mic's, I have often found myself having to readjust the mic while walking around the lecture hall or up and down the stairs. I thought this unit would be much more stable. However, I have a large head (I wear a size 8 hat) so I was a bit concerned that the ear loops would not be far enough apart to accommodate my (fat) head. The bad news is I was correct. When worn conventionally (i.e. as shown in the photos), the ear loops are indeed too close together. However, if I invert the mic and place the frame of the mic around my neck instead of the back of my head, it fits like a charm ! Importantly, the sound quality of this mic is very very good - as least as good as the Anchor Audio unit I was using. Moreover, the unit seems relatively durable. I've used it for around a month so far as it is still working well. At this price point I will buy another as a back up. Nice job Pyle-Pro !

Oh my! This worked so well and I can't believe how cheap it is. We use this for speaking only and in a church setting. We use it with a Shure body pack. Very pleased!

Excellent replacement for our church's lapel mic. This is not a super-high end product, but it does very well for an average church/speaker.

Great mic for the price. I have surprised many people who are sound experts when I share the secret of the mic brand and price.
