Honestly I feel this is the best shower chair. My husband claims its comfortable, roomy, and easy to get in and out of. Once wheels are locked it stays perfectly in place. Well worth the price.

I weight 340 lbs, and have searched for a shower chair. I tried several that had thin telescoping tubing for the legs. When the legs were extended to a usable height, the chair was unsteady. The legs on this chair are very sturdy, and do not wobble at all. Highly recommend.

Seems solid and well built but we'll see once used. Just a couple of minor things that are annoying but not at all dealbreakers.1. The brake stops are are red, and not grey2. The instructions were so dark it seemed like a copy of a copy of a copy of the original

Was purchased for a non-Ambulatory person so I could put them on the chair with a Hoyer Lift or a Sit to Stand Device. The locking devices on the canisters work very well. The chair will not roll with them in the locking position. They are really easy to unlock with your hands. They are a little small to use your foot to unlock them. Once in the chair and the canisters are unlocked it is very easy and sturdy to roll the person in and out of the shower. The patient that this was purchased for is over 6 Ft tall and over 200 LBS and it works great for him.

I have used mine for almost 4 years now. Some of the wheels needed tending to and gorilla glue did the trick. It's now time to order another one. But remember this chair has seen almost daily use, sometimes twice daily. It's expensive for pvc pipe and plastic mesh backing but being able to have impeded access to my “undercarriage” is worth every penny.
