I had a stroke and cannot use my left arm and needed something that I could use to hold things so that I can open and slice food items. This item does the trick.

I am now able to cut up fruits and vegetables that I couldn't hold before.I can open most bottles and lids that I usually had to ask someone else to open. On some glass jars I can't get it tight enough to stop it from turning, but for the most part I am extremely satisfied with this product. Wish I had found it sooner.

i only have function in my right arm due to a stroke, but i love cooking - this cutting board has given me the opportunity to cook again! the prongs are so helpful in keepin items in place, though the sliding thing didnt hold a cheese grater as advertised.... its still wonderful for stroke survivors in the kitchen!!

A great cutting board when you have one hand! Also, the vise is useful for many things, like opening jars. One caution for Canadian customers; you will be charged taxes and a handling fee as C.O. D., which makes the shipping fees close to half the price of the item!

This does everything it says! I am in a full arm cast and this allowed me to cook easier. It was a bit smaller than I expected but after using it I love it. I will continue using it after the cast comes off. Be careful with the suctions. They work a little too well!!!!
