I have a sewing/embroidery area which has no room for an ironing board or to even store a small one. This is a perfect solution. i have fold it up and put it away when not in use. I have iron on my table. The heat doesn't not go thru onto my table. I would recommend this for anyone. This could be great for travel too!

It's a little bulky when you first receive it, after a few days if use it will flatten out. I love it

I purchased this ironing blanket for using while I'm quilting or small sewing projects. It makes it handing in being able to have it right by you and not having to constantly having to get up and down while working on a project.

This was bought for one of my granddaughters when she entered college this year. She is away from home and needed an iron, so I purchased a travel iron and thought this ironing blanket would be a welcome addition as I wanted her to be equipped with the iron and this blanket to iron wherever she needs to. Great for a college student!

it works just like a regular size ironing board, but much handier to use and easier to store, and the flatter the surface its on the better it irons.

Yes I do love this item, when I am sewing and making a quilt it is so easy to lay this on the table right beside the sewing machine or on a TV tray during sewing also as a friend and I both can sew and iron as we go without stopping and restarting.
