For some reason, I am a real fruit fly magnet. They seem to follow me. I have them at home as well as at work. So I have bought a few of these fruit fly traps for both home and the office. They work very well and it excites me to see all the dead flies in there (there is a "viewing window").Unfortunately, these only last 30 days and they don't seem to be available in multi packs.Other reviewers have said it doesn't work as well as homemade traps. But homemade traps seem take up a lot more room. These are small and actually kind of "cute" looking so they can easily blend in to the kitchen or wherever you need to put it.

So when we opened up a forgotten lunch box, left in the car for about three weeks, little did we know the horrors within! A half eaten banana resulted in roughly 400 fruitflies now sharing our condo. We used this fruit fly trap, having not been able to make any of the home remedies work the way we needed them to.THIS PRODUCT IS BRILLIANT! It is not immediate, but it is effective. Within 2 days from the initial infestation the fruit flies were almost gone. After 4 days total, we may have had one or two left, but the result was impressive.There is no smell with this product, and its not ugly to look at. You can easily stick it in the corner by the sink, or under the sink and leave it for a month to help out. The cat also left it alone, so no worries with normally curious pets.I will definitely buy again, if only to keep in the house for the next absentminded disaster.

I only gave it four stars because you can only use it for about a month, and then you have to throw it away. I wanted something that was reusable! Having said that, this baby works! I do not know where all these darn fruit flies are coming from, but it is definitely working and catching the flies! I will look for something else because I want something reusable!!

Purchased the Terro fruit fly trap and the Springstar glass fruit fly trap at the same time. The Terro worked; collecting many fruit flies, while the Springstar caught less than ten the entire time I have had two of them out.

I bought three of these and put them near the places I was seeing the fruit flies. Within a week, all of the flies were dead, and now a month later I don't see any flies.

It actually works! I've placed it between the kitchen sink my mini-bokashi bin & it has trapped lots of fruit flies in the lower compartment. I would like to buy refills if available.
