Great product. This grinder is much Much quieter than the cheaper alternatives. I think it was well worth the extra money for that feature alone. Additionally, the build quality is fantastic and this grinder generates much more power than cheaper alternatives I've used in the past.

Quiet and plenty of torque. This has to be my all time favorite angle grinder. I am not sure why other reviewers have had trouble with the throttle , its easy to control the speed. The tool is so so so much quieter then my ingersol rand versions. I am buying more of these so I can have different disc sizes on them.

I bought mine for automotive use. I use it with a .25" stem wire brush to clean the rust around the areas I am doing work in. Last night I changed a wheel bearing in a 2004 Chev Trailblazer. This grinder was able to get into the area where the bearing goes into the housing. The front axle drive shaft spline sits in the center of the housing and I was able to work around it. I live in the land of salt and snow so you can imagine the amount of rust on a truck that 13 years old. I marred up the tool while wire brushing the housing, but that makes it look more like a working tool, not that tool some people keep shiny and clean and never make it do anything. The motor is quite powerful. It stalled a few times but that was because the pressure dropped to low on the compressor. I use a 20 gallon Powermate compressor. This tool uses a substantial amount of CFM if you try to run it continuously.

On the one I received, when the trigger is released, it doesn't completely cut air supply and continues to turn at a slow rpm when released. Other than that it works well and is quiet compared to other models I've owned.
