Perfect tool for the job. I was drilling through a very thick gauge pot to make a brew kettle. This was perfect for the job with a few hiccups from my handheld drill. I'd only issue a word of caution here. If you're using a ton of force to drill through thick metal, wear gloves and protective eyewear. Pieces of hot metal can very easily pop off and leave a nasty mark on your hands and arms. Now imagine if it gets into your eye.

I build DIY guitar effects pedals (stomp boxes) and this drill bit is a game changer. I no longer have to change bits to drill different size holes necessary for building them. One tip though is to use a TEKTON 6580 Automatic Center Punch to start your holes and then use a 1/834; titanium bit to drill a pilot hole because this Unibit tends to slip a little otherwise. Also, keeping the bit oiled with Tap Magic Industrial Pro Cutting Fluid significantly helps the process. I've already drilled hundreds of holes in aluminum enclosures with this and it's still perfect. Excellent product. Would definitely buy again.
