I have used this stapler on upholstery, aluminum insect screen on my porch, and fiberglass screen on windows. The only time it has stopped working is when it needed staples. One of my most dependable tools. Eight years old and still going!!

Shot several thousand staples and covered 6 chairs with this Porter-Cable stapler. The perfect tool for upholstery and picture framing. There is no safety (would just get in the way in tight spots anyway) so be careful.

Take it from me, I have used a few big brands of staplers in my canvas-stretching profession of 25 years! Senco and Fasco and Wen worked ok but they lasted only about 10 years. I have two of these Porter Cable staplers that I have used daily for the last 15 years and they have never failed me! This is not the most expensive unit but I believe it is the best!
