My WRX needed a compression test. Instead of a shop charging 125-200 for them to do it I learned to do it myself. This kit is extremely nice and feels very high quality. I had thought about renting one or borrowing one but honestly I wanted a tool I could know and trust which is why I bought new. This kit, even though it says made in Taiwan, feels very well constructed. the adapters are of good quality and honestly I would have paid up to $120 for this now. All the adapters are clamped on so no fiddling with worm clamps or potentials for leaking air giving false readings. It also came with a multitude of adapters which were all good quality. I had to test my WRX while it was at operating temperature. I needed a tool that was durable, good quality, cheap, and most importantly accurate. This was the tool. I now know my engine is healthy as a horse so I am quite pleased. The miata is next. Seriously this is a good kit.
