I purchased this Weller thermal tool to trim the excess edges of the netting when I replaced my hockey net! I wanted a much better tool such as one that is used to cut sail cloth, but it was about 10 times more expensive. This served my needs at the present time and I look to get the much better thermal cutting tool in the near future. In a pinch this tool will perform admirably!!!
