These are fantastic bits. I make wooden toys and need to drill holes for windows. If you start slowly to break the first fibers of the wood and use a back up scrap for exit hole no blow out. I had to drill over 100 holes 1 into pine no blow out. I bought the full set good price.

These are incredible bits. I have had them for about 6 months and they drill clean and so fast that I havent realized Ive drilled all the way thru into by drill block. They actually seem to work best with an impact driver amazingly. I use them with my Milwaukee Fuel M12 Surg and l can drill an 1 1/4 hole without clamping, just holding the piece of wood I am drilling into with my other hand. I dont write many reviews but these bits by Wood Owl are revolutionary (sorry for the pun). If you drill holes in these sizes these Overdrive bits are a must. You will not regret purchasing the set. Truly amazing.

These bits are like a cross between Forstner and Auger bits. They cut through wood quickly and cleanly. They can also be used in a brace, which would be difficult to impossible for a Forstner. My Forstners still have a place in my work but these offer much faster, more aggressive option in certain situations.

Cuts very fast and leaves a clean hole. Used the 1 1/4” bit in a 18v cordless drill to hog out material so a forstner bit could finish. I think I could have used a quality 12v drill and got the job done. Very impressed!

Cleanly cut thru a hard oak. Used these bits for making 3/4 inch holes in my new workbench for the purpose of housing bench dogs. Excellent bits for this application.

Great bits; very sharp and well made. Drilled through 1/2 plywood and there were no tear-outs. I didn't slacken off the pressure as the bit point started showing; I just kept pushing until the drill was clear through the hole. REMARKABLE!
