I hadn't noticed in the illustration that there was a locator pin to prevent the body of the pot from rotating. I didn't need that for my application, so I snipped it off and used a star washer to prevent rotation.

Worked fine for an archtop pickguard application. Easily soldered to the pot back where necessary.

I put these in a Squier CV 60's P Bass to replace a scratchy pot that came in the bass, and they work great. Well made and smooth.

Ordered these to do a full electronics replacement in a guitar I'm working on, the pots I received are 500k, but long shaft and much larger than as advertised. Not worth returning for the price of the parts, but I'd recommend sourcing from a different seller.

I bought these when I upgraded my pick-ups in my Jackson bass. The threads are barely too short and I can't get the nut on them to tighten them down, even without the washer. These are advertised as 10mm threads but really on give about 7-8mm. The originals have 10mm of actual threads. These are otherwise exact same size and shape.

If you're looking for a budget pot with easy install, this is it.The miniature size led to more intricate soldering than hoped for, but if you read the product description, shouldn't be a surprise.
