I purchased this for my son because he always wanted one. Thank goodness my other son took a look at it first because it wasn't working. He found something inside that wasn't right and fixed it. He gave it to my oldest son it was intended for and he used it right away.

I surprised my husband with it for Thanksgiving. We went to the falls and lots of bird watching. He loves anything to do with boats, and was so very pleased to have this. The box it comes in is awesome also.

I'm a huge fan of the show Deadliest Catch, and had the opportunity to go aboard the F/V Time Bandit. When I was invited.My bedroom has taken on a Deadliest Catch theme. With all of my favorite boats from the show, representing in some way. This rustic looking telescope adds to the theme very nicely. I love it.It was well packaged in bubble wrap. Around the telescope itself, and the case. It arrived in perfect condition to me. I had to spend some time getting all of the bubble wrap off. But, it was no big deal.

This thing has been an awesome addition to my 27 foot sailboat! Really brings out the nautical pirate vibes of sailing _x000D_Solid spyglass, doesn't feel like a toy at all. Very sturdy except the piece that focuses is a little loose. Speaking of focusing it's a little hard to use on a moving boat, but it's worth it because you look cool while using it haha!
