The tool is indispensable for running (pushing or pulling) wires or cables through limited access areas and false ceilings. The Grabbit is designed for both residential and commercial installations. The tool includes our patented Z-tip wire grabber tip. The inner V of the Z-Tip has a double knife edge designed to literally grab the wire insulation without cutting the actual metal wire, while the outer V (without knife edge) is designed to push a wire loop. Both the GR12 and GR18 now include a new handy snap-on light accessory included for seeing in dim lighting. Just snap on the LED light in dark applications, and snap it off when not in use. Replacement GRABBIT clip-on lights are available separately. The GR18 has five sections and when collapsed is less than 58\" and weighs less than 5lbs. When extended, the GR18 will reach to 18ft.Tech Tips:The Grabbit poles are also great when working in residential attics or crawlspaces when heat, bugs, nails or whatever are lurking about. Limit your time in the space. Simply run your wires above the top plate, or let them hang through the bottom plate and reach out and retrieve them from a distance in a comfortable place. We recommend running all the wires first. You will be amazed at how quickly you can retrieve them using the Grabbit Pole. 2302381 0792136821184 45.0000lbs 0.00 0.00 0.00

This tool is a huge time saver. I have 3 but lost one on a job site and had to order a replacement. After 10 years of commercial use it still works great!

I work for a cable company and this thing paid for itself the first time I did not have to crawl under a nasty house. Some may be thrown it off by the price but it is definitely worth it. I did not use the provided hook with it I just used a j-hook put on with tie straps and black tape. Works like a champ!

Seems pricy, but if you do a lot of cabling, you'll get your money's worth quick. Make long reaches very easy. Very solid construction and easy to use.

The second piece of the telescoping rod was cracked upon arrival, eventually the smallest piece will pull free and be lost in an attic forever.
