This box is sturdy, accepts letter-sized envelopes, and has a large capacity.We installed it to the wall without issue. It's not too heavy to hang on the wall if the proper hardware is used. If you have wood studs use lag bolts. If you have metal studs then use toggle bolts. If you can't install into a stud, then use really large toggle bolts or steel hollow wall anchors.
