I installed the sliding trash cans in a standard cabinet and no one can find them. I added this to the door, removed the hinges, and moved the knob to the middle and now no one asks where the trash is, they just know.

Installing this item, according to directions, is supposed to take 20 minutes and looks pretty straightforward. NOT. Screw locations are very awkward to get to. The brackets that attach to the door did not fit correctly on our standard cabinet doors. Had to change them around 4 times to get a mostly ok fit and after first swap, the 2 sided tape wore out making that part of the install very awkward. End result was ok and it is working as it should.

Buyer beware!!! Check your cabinet door. The instructions state that the system needs to be attached to the door frame, and not the door itself. In my case it was easy to see that the provided screws would go through my door. The problem is that my cabinet door was 7 inches wider than this system, even with the spacers added. The listing should give exact dimensions for the door it will be attached to.Not just a waste of time, but money as well. I have to pay the handyman for installing everything up to this last part, then to remove it.

Maybe it is the fact that our cabinet doors are only 3/4 inch overlay, but when the doors is attached to the brackets, the metal edges are visible. This would not be an issue with full overlay doors. Otherwise, a well-made product with clear instructions.
