It brought my pump back to full output. The old impeller had gotten grooved and the ends had worn off to the point where it wouldn't start rotating every time.

The only real part that can break in these magnetic pumps is the impeller. If it does, this is an easy repair and saves you having to purchase a whole new pump. Had to google some of the model numbers, etc, on the pump to figure out which impeller to purchase, but overall was not that hard and I'm glad I fixed rather than having to buy a whole new pump.
