This scooper works great in the grass, and on gravel. No need to bend down due to the long handle ! Highly recommend.

this item is simple and efficient. It only requires one hand and is long enough to use standing up. This is my second one, as my first one broke after regular use for 4 years.

Picks up well but needs stronger springs to grabs more of the pile. Works well in the snow and sand.

Had one of these (smaller version) lasted about two years with careful use but eventually busted mostly due to UV exposure I believe. This one is longer and great on my bad back so I don't have to bend down as much as the old one. It feels a bit little flimsy, probably due to the longer length, but I have found nothing that works this good to get large dog dropping out of my yard. So I'll be gentle with it and hope it will last me as long as the last one did. Also was missing springs when it arrived but I just e-mailed the manufacturer and they sent them out right away. Very happy so far! Been using it for about 2 months now.

This product is great. It allows me to pick up the patties using one hand for the scooper. It's large and strong enough to handle the leavings of my mastiff. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an easy way to pick up after their dog while remaining at a distance from the stinky stuff.

I see a lot of negative reviews of this item and I don't know why. This is the second one we've owned. The first lasted nearly 3 years, which seems reasonable to me. We live in the northeast and store it outside leaning against the side of the house. It is exposed to the elements but doesn't get much direct sunlight (which I suspect is what is causing so much of the breakage people are complaining about). Regardless of the size of your dog I would get the "super" scooper over the "regular" scooper (or whatever they call it) because the super scooper is taller. I tried the regular one at a local store and it was quite a bit shorter which would mean lots of bending over.
