I have had my Mag-Float for a few years and recently realized that the inside pad needed replacing after having sand stuck in it over time. This is a good replacement, but the process to replace it is difficult. I was almost ready to quit and just buy another magnet. I have yet to find an easy way to remove the super sticky glue from the magnet before applying the new pads. It took a lot of work, but it finally came off. The inside the tank pad works well at removing algae from the glass, but the outer pad could use some improvement. It doesn't cover the whole magnet and leaves streaks when you are using it. I solved this problem by putting a very thin piece of fleece blanket between the outer glass and magnet and it comes in handy whenever I need to buff out water spots from the glass.

Pads were perfect and easy to replace. A lot cheaper than buying new new mag float. Will purchase again when time comes.

They are great replacement pads. The Velcro side was really hard to get off of the original mag float. The new pads went on perfectly.
