I find this product priced considerably less than at your local garden center or pond supply store. The coarse filter pad (which I use in combination with both the carbon filter pad and the fine filter pad - yes I use all three) means I don't have to change or clean my filter to prevent clogging nearly as frequently - some times as long as 10 days. With a high pressure spray nozzle you can easily clean these and reuse them dozens of time. I use mine for a 140 gallon outdoor pond (gunnite sided) with 10 gold fish. Excellent filtration with these.

I have been using this product for years for my fish pond, they were becoming increasingly hard to find, so I am delighted to be able to order them on line.
