I have used these in the past and loved the ease of use. Only put one in the first week then two the next continue increasing one block a week until you have your proper dose. If you put 4 or 5 in at first it could crash your tank. The first few times you put them in they will dissolve quickly then slow down and dissolve as the tank needs it.

Ive been reeling for about 15 years. I keep softies, hammers, purple tip digi, torches, frog spawns etc. I've never checked my calcium levels once. I toss one of these in the back. If e coralline looks like it's retreating a little I toss another in. That's it. Easy.

I have used several different calcium supplements and this product works for me. Its super easy to use and I have never had problems with over-dosing. I have used this product going on five years now with the same tank. It keeps the mineral levels stable, which I personally think is far more important than fluctuating wildly around some purported more-natural target value.
