This is a great sandpaper ping pong paddle. We love it and will certainly order more when needed. Thank you!

Really?? This paddle came with noticeable bubbles in the sandpaper sheet. The wood of the so called flat part has a couple of ridges going straight down. The ball will hit this part and go flying in a different direction.. Is there any quality control of this product at all?

I bought these paddles for my boyfriend who is a ping pong nut. He loves them! Says they are just like the one he grew up using.

Even though I know that padded inverted dimple paddles are the highest quality and the choice of top competitors, I grew up playing against my fellow tennis team players playing ping pong on rainy days and before and after practice at school. In those days the school provided sandpaper paddles and we got pretty darn good with those things. Now I simply prefer the feel and action of the hard wood and sandpaper feel. This paddle is that classic style. My vacation resort home bought a first class $500 ping pong table for the recreation room and of course they bought quality paddles. So I had to go out and buy this $7 sandpaper paddle to have for myself. It's just like I remember.
