I purchased this it use as a extender for my arm when i want to lightly touch my dog’s hip or tail to direct her in a direction. For example, swiveling backward in a circle or touching her chest lightly to get her to rise. The whip handle has a nice grip and the wrist loop means I can drop it if I am getting a treat.. The long length saves me from bending over and adding additional cues to my training. It’s stiff enough to allow me to “push” on her but flexible enough that I’m not poking her. Its very light weight which means its easy to use for a long training sessions without the bulk of a yardstick or wooden dowel.

A bit stiff for me and the handle is bulky. However, it has held up well, which is why I give it 3 stars. I've switched to using a whip by Fleck (just their basic model) and prefer the feel of that much better. I don't think I paid much more for it.

I use this as an extension of my arm working with dogs to help create space for a nervous dog - works great for that purpose!
