We used this at a large event to keep our staff on time when on stage. The countdown timer worked great. We didn't rely on the battery - but the battery in this is quite large. However, when it's off, it's off. It doesn't remember the time. The only real problem is the danged beep that you can't turn off. You can, however, unplug the speaker and turn it into a quiet device. If I ever get the time, I'm going to splice in a switch on the speaker wire. There's plenty of room in the AC adapter storage area for a switch. They really ought to have included this, since it's a useful feature and wouldn't have affected the price much.(How to silence the speaker: 1. remove the sticker/label on top. 2. unscrew the back plate. 3. find the wires from the speaker and unplug it from the circuit board. 4. reassemble the back plate. 5. replace the sticker on top.)

We use this clock for charitable run events. I place it on a high table for runners to see. Its very bright and they can see it as they come in. Pretty easy to use, especially if you read the directions first! Counts up and down and holds time accurately. Easy to store.

We have been using the exact same clock for our Upward Basketball games and I purchased this one as a back-up. Our previous back-up was no longer functional.

We simlply LOVE IT...Thanks for sending it in a timely manner...The price was also RIGHT! We are recommending it to several other Pastors who have been looking for this clock for some time...Pastor T. Jones who discovered it and called. We purchased while he was online. Thanks again to Pastor T J....

Easy to use. Easy to see. Not too big or too small. Battery is essential for these. But this needs to be protected from rain/snow if used outdoors.
