Product worked well enough for what we required. A little more light weight than originally thought; waiting to see how it handles travelling. The cost was higher than expected. The directions were easy to use; instead of a count down, we counted up and that was easy to change without rereading the instructions. We are using it for timed presentations, numerals were very clear and bright, and could easily be seen from a 50 foot distance; received positive comments from all participants. Would buy again knowing what I know now.

We used this at a large event to keep our staff on time when on stage. The countdown timer worked great. We didn't rely on the battery - but the battery in this is quite large. However, when it's off, it's off. It doesn't remember the time. The only real problem is the danged beep that you can't turn off. You can, however, unplug the speaker and turn it into a quiet device. If I ever get the time, I'm going to splice in a switch on the speaker wire. There's plenty of room in the AC adapter storage area for a switch. They really ought to have included this, since it's a useful feature and wouldn't have affected the price much.(How to silence the speaker: 1. remove the sticker/label on top. 2. unscrew the back plate. 3. find the wires from the speaker and unplug it from the circuit board. 4. reassemble the back plate. 5. replace the sticker on top.)
