Clock works great in my teams practices! Very easy to set up the clock and the other options it has.

Great clock for beginner racing. Simple to use. Bought for our first 5k race, worked like a champ! for the $ you cannot go wrong. We used it so the runners could see their time. Display is hard to see close up but for ~100ft - 25' it worked great!

I bought this score clock for a street hockey program. This clock is for indoor use only, but I have been using it outside. We can still see the time in the bright sunlight as long as the LED lights are not facing the sun. It can be clock, it can count down, and it can count up. I use it primarily for the count down feature. There are directions, but can be a little confusing. Once you shut the power button off you do have to reset the clock. One weakness of this score clock is the buzzer, it can't be heard and stops quickly. I have to use a whistle to stop play.So far it has worked well and it is easy to use once you understand the directions. It's also portable and can be set up rather quickly.

Bought this on Black Friday strangely enough... I've never seen a large-LED countdown clock for anywhere near this price anywhere else. It does what it says and overall I'm pleased, but there are two problems that make it a hassle:- It's battery powered, but the charger plugs in behind the battery cover. This means that every time you want to use it on battery, you have to take the huge, clunky battery cover off. On the flip side, the battery compartment is big enough that you can store the charger inside the unit.- The unit only charges when the power switch is on. It's a weird quirk, but it's a real problem for us because this is used in a practice space where 5 different teams practice. Invariably, at least once a week, some "helpful" person shuts off the unit while it's charging, and then the unit is dead when we try to use it the next day.Nonetheless, a great unit at a great price. I've looked into building a unit like this from scratch, and the 4 inch LED's alone cost nearly as much as this unit!

I bought this timer to use with my high school Spanish students who do a lot of timed activities. It's big, bright and portable. It's still running strong on the charge from the factory. So far, an A+.

I was first introduced to this scoreboard in Afghanistan, so I purchased one on my current mission in Kosovo. Some minor, inexpensive improvements. Have dual 110/220 system, like most electronics these days. Since most games are outdoors, change the red lights to white...yes, red is sexier, but just not visible in daylight...now, if you could change colors, that'd be fantastic! Very important - put the topside viewing box in the other direction so the scorer who is operating the clock can see it!...that is the only person who needs to see the top indicator, so why make it difficult for them? Lastly, there has to be another, simpler way to connect the charger, than the awkward connection difficult to find and place the charger in...make it easy to connect/disconnect. Would it cost that much more to have a battery charger light indicating low or fully charged. I will require such clocks in the future; i hope yours makes these minor improvements. Respectfully. bbb
