Nice for price and this won't be lost on baseball guys but being this glove was purchased for my son who is in the 10U class I had to really break it in as per tradition, my point here is depending on your child's physical development may have a hard time closing the glove.TLDR break it in we got it right to where he could break it in himself through game and training use. Pretty stiff out of the box but for the price point you really can't go wrong.

I bought this mitt for my sons little league team. This mitt get used but several kids and it fits them all great. They commented on how much easier it is to catch and scoop up balls at first base using this mitt.
