Very attractive nickel finish, easy to operate, fill, light and extinguish. The only issue I found was that the filler hole screw-cap would not seat all the way, the threads bind about half-way down, so it never seals the oil reservoir completely (just don't overfill or lean it over on that side). Provides very useful light on the back porch at night. This will also be nice to have during power outages. Using Paraffin Lamp Oil, and it worked great.

Great when you first get it. Can only be used outdoors. I left it on a patio table under a roof. The lantern never got wet at all. After two years it was COMPLETELY rusted, with barely any silver showing. Also, even with very little oil in it, it would leak, so we always had to have a protective pad under it.Bottom line - unless you never put oil in it and always keep it indoors as a showpiece, save your $$ and get one for 1/4 to 1/3 the price!
