I was so excited to get this as a birthday present! I'd been wanting some workout equipment for our basement so my husband bought this for me. It only took him about 15-20 minutes to put it together. Great quality for the price! I use it every day!

I like this machine a lot more than the typical row machines. With most of row machines, you just pull back and forth. With this machine, You use your arms a lot more. There's a lot more movement and range in the use of your arms. I have never rowed a boat, but this feels a lot like what I imagine it to be (and what it looks like in the tv shows and movies.)

I was so intimidated as soon as I opened the instructions. But honestly, it was super easy to put together. Took about 30 mins. I'm so glad I went with this one. The range of motion for the arm exercise is well worth MORE than I paid!!! It's easy to adjust the setting under the seat. The glide is PHENOMENAL. And quiet. True, this is only myFirst day owning it and working out with it, but so far I'm excited. I have it on my hardwood floor at the moment but it needs either a mat or rug under it, or you WILL kinda move around the floor while in use. But it's still not so significant I feel I need a mat TOMORROW. The only thing I have to figure out is a better way to strap my feet down as the band with Velcro to hold your feet down is rather large, but I'm sure I'll get it when I piddle with it later. Still. FIVE STARS!!! I CANT WAIT TO GET FIT!!!

I was hesitant at first because of the price but wanted something inexpensive to use at home aside from my treadmill for cardio days, this thing is actually much much nicer than anticipated, great range of motion, can get a heck of a workout on it

Easy to assemble, functions as described. The one I received, arrived with a smashed cord, so I was unable to use the row tracker/calorie counter. It is rather large and recommends you have at least 2 feet of space all around the machine. It's some what difficult to store as because it doesn't fold up. But if you have the space it's a perfect way to get in a full body workout. You can definitely watch tv or jamming to some music as the machine makes very little to no noise.

If I could give this review 10 stars I would. Important to note I bought this machine after a horrible Walmart.Com rowing machine purchase experience (an out-of-the-box nightmare of pieces that took hours to assemble only to have the machine break 7 days after assembly and 6 uses). I went in search of a different design (the first rower I purchased clearly had a design flaw that allowed for a sautered joint on the bottom of the rowing arm where it attached to the frame to easily snap after repeated usage and you could not swap out without replacing at a minimum both the frame and the rowing arm). I found this Sunny Health model. Right out of the box, you will notice the main part of the frame is mostly pre-assembled and that frame is solid construction. Next, don't panic once you see the exploding part diagram in the manual. I say that because this machine comes with the hardware neatly organized by step. Genius! Lastly, part of my purchase decision was based on the assembly video found on the item listing. You might think that the video is edited timewise but I found the time it took that user to describe what he was doing step-by-step and actually assemble the rower in real time is fairly accurate. I only had to glance at the manual and voila! The end product seems basic but it is smooth rowing. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this machine on days I aim to mix it up and get in a two-a-day workout (in addition to my community's fitness center treadmill and stair climber).
