This Trap Bar has great balance, nice grip area on top and bottom handles and a large area to stand in. You will not hit your knees on the front bar when squatting down low. Also you can take a fairly wide leg stance if so desired without hitting your hands/bar on the sides of your legs or if you do it will not cause much interference. It weighs 50 pounds. It also has a nice feel to it for shrug work as well as squats and dead lifts. If you don't have access to a squat rack this is the bar for you. You know how dead lifting with a regular bar just doesn't work your quads enough, well this bar allows you to go deep and stay even rather than forward as you drop down. It will hit your quads nicely as well as everything else.
