The handles included in this kit can be used with exercise bands or tubing, both of which I have used extensively in physical therapy and exercise classes. Their simple design makes them easy to use and adjust, quick to change out for different exercises or levels of resistance. The padded foam grips are roomy enough for large hands, without being uncomfortable for smaller ones. With acessories to attach the band to a door or loop over your foot, you can pack a whole body exercise machine in a make-up bag. The best part of these tools is the safety factor: no more bands/tubes slipping and snapping back into my face! Also, no more ruining a band by knotting it for a certain exercise and trying to unknot it repeatedly for another. Wish I bought these years ago!

They are light weight, take up no room in a suitcase and work with the thera-bands perfectly. It's very easy to adjust the length of the bands and this gives infinate adjustments to the resistance. Great system.

I've only used the handles, but so far they're working out fine. I think some of the negative reviews may have been from people trying to use them on more heavy-duty equipment, and they might not be tough enough for that. But I use them with the Thera-bands, and they've been just fine (over two months of using and no sign of any trouble). They're comfortable to hold. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that I just don't see as much use for the other items that came in the kit.

My doctor gave me a length of red stretch tubing he bought 50 feet and cut me off 5 to use in my water exercises. It was fine. But sun and chlorine made it weak and broke, getting finally too short. I wanted the same thing, bought this, both the heavy and the weak sets of tubings. Sure the price for a mere piece of tubing is high, but the convenience of knowing I have the real item is worth it. I got the first of two shipments yesterday and will be back in the water this morning. The exercises are far more valuable to me than saving a buck with the same product cheap and to know that it will work

Just like my physical therapist uses. I have used and loved all the pieces. I appreciate that the door anchor is light, so that in the unlikely event it slips through, you would not get hit with something hard.

I learned about therabands while doing physical therapy, and I am now a huge advocate. I use them at home and they are especially valuable as a way to do strength conditioning on the road.
