You MUST moisten the needle before inserting it in the bladder (Petroleum Jelly is best.) This will help prevent small tears in the inflation valve and deflation of your bag.

this bag is at my fitness center. unlike all other bags this one is perfectly balanced and never loses air. it is stamped 'gyro balanced' AND IT IS BALANCED !! do not buy any other brand, and don't waste your money and time. an unbalanced bag is junk. there is only one way to make a speed bag, and it must be perfectly balanced or it swings in wild out of control directions.

This is a great bag. I ordered the small. At first it was a bit more challenging than a standard size bag. Now, it's my go to and the larger bag seems awkward and slow. I like the black and red as it's not too distracting to the eye. The downside is that the bladder failed after 8 months. I do hit it every day, but seems like I could have gotten a little more banging for my buck. That said, I like this bag so much, that I immediately ordered another.
