Yes, after almost 13 years and 3 moves, I have to buy another one. :) Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration...my old one works just fine...top has a spidery egg shell kind of crack in the top that is totally my fault, and one of the settings [stream spray] no longer works. Frankly I'm back to get another before this one gives out in a few years and I can't find a new one. I'll replace with new one and keep old one in storage just in case I ever need.Filter does wonders for hair and skin. Change filters 2-4 times a year. Soak shower head in vinegar every couple of years to keep holes clean.Last one I bought in 2011 was $37, so a little sad it's now close to $80, but not sad enough not to buy.

This took me 10 minutes to install and is a great shower head. I hesitated ordering a new head because of the installment. I followed the directions and it was very easy! Works beautifully! Highly recommended.

If you are limited to where you can put a filter like me this is a dream.However it will increase the weight of your shower head considerably.Enough that it will drop to the floor depending on your hardware. Be aware of that before you buy this model. It really is dependent on how it's stored or used with all that significant extra weight from the filter in the head.

Installing the wall-mounted version was harder than installing this wand version. About 6 weeks after moving from my old place (where I had the wall-mounted shower head), I could notice a real difference in the brittleness of my hair without the filtered water decided to purchase this hand held version for my new place. I removed the flow restrictor as a matter of preference - it was easy to do, but the plastic piece was blue (not white as the instructions say). I recommend this shower filter to people living in areas with hard water.

Our water leaves a reddish residue on the tile and tub.2 weeks of use is not enough to be sure it filters that.But my wife likes it.
