This tool has revolutionized me cutting a straight line. I am building a 7 by 4 kitchen island and this tool has made it possible for me to cut long straight lines.

I picked this circular saw guide up to help cut 60x60 Baltic Birch panels, which it does well. It allows me to cut them accurately and with much less shred on the cut edge.I had two issues with this product. The first is during setup they have you trim part of this plastic adhesive rail that you stick onto the aluminum bits so you get a zero clearance cut. Works fine, except that it melted a bunch of sticky gunk to the side of my brand-new blade, which wasn't fun.The second issue is the price. It's a few aluminum rails and a plastic sled. The rails are held together in the worst way (some soft set screws and rails you insert), not in some quick-to-use setup. Nothing about this is expensive, but here is a 180 price tag. Could be much cheaper.

The instructions say to only use thus item with a saw with a metal blade guard, and they know what they're talking about. My cheapo Ryobi has a plastic blade guard and it wanders like crazy if I push down at all. It took a while to realize it's the saw, and not the guide. The guide rail works beautifully with the right saw.

I recently used this to install hardwood stair treads and risers. I use a razor knife to mark cut lines for treads and risers as it is far more precise than a pencil line. With this track combined with my DeWalt cordless saw I was able to make perfectly accurate cuts on my razor cut line. Also made short work of breaking down a couple sheets of maple plywood for some built in shelves. I can see I wont be using my jobsite table saw nearly as much anymore. If you already have a cordless saw then this is a super cheap way to get into a track saw set up. I've used DeWalt's track saw a few times and Festool's several times and I can say that this is just as accurate. The only thing missing here is good dust collection but at this price point it really is a non issue. If you've been wanting a track saw but didn't want to spend the 500-700 dollars for the name brands this set up does the same thing at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend!

Takes some time to setup because tracks are in 2 foot sections but what a great tool. Was a little hesitant to buy because of the price but it's worth every penny. The rubber grips keep it from moving on wood and even melamine board (just remember to write them down after you pick the track up to remove any debris that it picked up).My only gripe is that the sled/guide has some room for improvement to make it easier to setup and provide stability. There are no pins in the back to secure the guide to the circular saw so it just kind of hangs there.

Instructions have a few place that could be clear or reorganized. Once setup is reasonable and rail stays in place while sawing with not clamping. I am using it with DEWALT 20V MAX 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw with Brake, Cordless (DCS570B). Need to add dust collection. I made sure to keep the saw, rail and area clean after each cut.

I was slightly skeptical when o bought this. After cutting 30 panels with it I'm definitely convinced it is the real deal. Great tool

This thing has absolutely changed my workflow in my shop and saved me so much valuable time. I don't have the space for an outfeed table, so I run this on my sheet good to get them down to a manageable size. Also extremely helpful with wide cuts ie for my cabinets. It will do til I can afford a dedicated track saw and system.
