I put these out as a spot light for by back wall of jasmine and they are very bright. They had a charge out of the box and stayed on all night. I started to wonder if flowering plants are affected by light and remembered they have an off switch. Saves the battery during the day and I dont have to have them on all the time, so my flowers can sleep. Highly recommend, looking to buy two more to light up my trees.

I wanted to put a solar spotlight on our address monument by the street, but found most of them wanting either for dim light output or high (blue) color temperatures. This product solves both problems with high lumen output and a warm color temperature. After nearly six months of daily (nightly) use, I have found that here in Texas it still will charge enough during the day in the late Autumn to last through the longer nights (albeit a little dimmer after 12 hours of darkness). Good product. EZ to install. Recommend.

After opening packaging the light and opening the light to ensure the batteries were installed (they were) I then tried to reinstall the shroud which holds the lens and reflector in the light housing. It was fairly difficult to get it to lock in place. But the light works beautifully and the light output is much more than I expected. I figured the light would me more similar to the cheapo led pathway lights... not this guy!

This light has the same color cast as a yellow electric light bulb. It looks great shinning on the house walls and landscape plants. In the late Spring and Summer months this light lasts all night, but, as Autumn is approaching, the lower angle of the sun is not sufficient to charge the batteries fully. As a result, the lights last for a few hours after dark, but then they dim and go out. Because darkness comes earlier (at 4:45pm on December 21st) the lights are not adequate at this time of the year. I am taking mine into the house and will reinstall in the Spring. And yes, I did readjust the charging angle as the sun lowered in the sky.<br />Overall, I like the lights with the exception of the seasonal problem as noted, therefore the 4 star rating.

I bought these and the Wall Wash lights and I can almost guarantee that you will be happier with the Wall Wash. I use these to light up the Cranberry trees, as well as smaller ornamental trees and landscape areas in my front yard and found there is really no reason to use this light instead of the Wall Wash. The Wall Wash simply throws out more light for the same price. I am returning these and getting more of the Wall Wash lights. I have tried several solar lights for my front yard and Malibu makes the best I've found. The light is warm, as opposed to the usual cold led lights. They are not as bright as non-solar lights, but bright enough to make it worth your while. Also, the heft and quality of the lights themselves is quite good.

I look forward to this terrific looking, resilient appearing, easy to set up, and incredibly luminescent (for wattage) solar lite to come down further in price as solar technology continues to improve.
