I haven't tried to hard to test the 34;tear and water resistant34; features of the map, but the paper seems top quality. I gave this map as a gift and upon opening my brother was extremely excited. He began searching the map finding trails he already knew and those he wasn't aware of. Seemed to be very detailed and expansive list of local trails and recreation.
