I got this while working on my tiny house and I think it would be great for camping, especially if you use cover materials as one does with bucket toilets. The seat feels really thin and I was always worried about breaking it. The bucket is also very low, which is to be expected with 5-gallon buckets, but you wouldn't want to tip your toilet over trying to get on it! The lid doesn't fit super tight, so you'd definitely want to empty it before trying to drive this home! The seat is supposed to fit any 5-gallon bucket and that was not at all my experience. I could never get the lid on completely on any other bucket. Still, if you need it, it's very nice to have! It would also be nice to have during power outages. City folks might not have this problem, but if you live with a well, your pump doesn't work when the power is out. In the woods, on windy days, it happens a lot. This is a good backup plan!

Very happy we got this. Made our camping experience so much easier. Even my 3 year old granddaughter was excited to use it. Worked great with the double doodie bags!

This is a festival life saver! I love music festivals but hate Johnny blues! It’s the most relieving feeling knowing you have a safe spot to do your business.

Great for Vaginal Steaming! I just put a ceramic trivet down in the bottom with the pot on top- it's perfect and cheap!

I'm an addict to comfort and this is what I was looking for. I share my bathroom, so when it's busy and I use this for emergency.. then I put the trashbag in a zipper bag, then toss it in the garbage outside.

Great product.Just buy an insert kitchen bags 4 or 8 gallons, don't let the smell absorb in main bucket No need to buy an expensive salt treatment. Just exchange the bag and discard the bag often.
