This is actually the 2nd one of these I have owned. I broke the first because I pulled on the wire instead of the pin...don't break it by being careless and it's great!

It can be difficult to see the orange lights in direct sunlight. But for the price you can't beat it. I would buy again

Excellent, you must view late at night/early in morning when the sun is not up, this is a product you will not be disappointed!

I am not well versed in how to test electricity and this made it easy to see how my fence was working.

It works but the lights are not as bright as I thought they should have been. This was tested on about 7000 volts.

After using a cheaper version I purchased this eight light (neon bulb) model. This is so much better that what I had and still inexpensive. The lights represent the voltage level and the unit has a nice contact tip that can be used multiple ways.Only problem is, it must be shaded from direct sunlight to see which bulbs are lit then I can see them. This is the one to get unless you intend to get a way more expensive 'read and hold' model. I just needed to see if my fence was working and have an idea of the voltage.I liked it.
