Love this calendar! I taught Nursery School for eight years and now am home with an in home Daycare Program and using this calendar once again. We use if for Circle Time every day. Children easily learn the days of the week, months of the year, season, weather, special events and counting. I had my Three's counting to 31 by the end of our school year and that is having them only two times a week! No negatives here!!!

Great learning tool! I wish this had extra storage for all the holiday cards and weather cards. I put the extra months behind the current month, but it would be nice to have a pocket for those as well.

This calendar has many good points: Good size - It's the typical classroom pocket chart size, good for circle time at a traditional school, but small enough that it can tuck behind a door for use at home Bilingual - Cards are reversible from English to Spanish. We use this at home school to reinforce language lessons Many Holiday cards - The holidays are very diverse, including holidays from multiple religions, and secular holidays for the U.S. and Canada. Tons of weather cards - More than I will likely ever need Reversible date cards - so I can color code weekends and weekdays Some things that irk me and made me demote it down to a 4 star rating Cutting - Holy cow, it took forever to cut all 3 billion cards out. Well, it took a little over an hour, but still. I was not expecting that. Holiday card size - The holiday cards are juuuuusssssttt tall enough to slightly overlap the date card on the row above them. I'm just far enough on the OCD spectrum for this to bother me. I considered trimming them down in the middle (they are double ended) and packaging taping them back together, but the size is necessary if you are using the weather cards, so I'll have to get over it.

Worth the wait! I use it in my kitchen for my son (2.5 yrs), and the cards are great for helping him understand longer-term plans (like playdates, vacations, birthdays, etc). I also use a dry-erase marker to let him know whose house he will be in that day (he goes back and forth between Mommy and Daddy's house frequently).

Love this calendar so much. Yes, you have to cut all the pieces but it didn't take me long at all. I purchased this for my 5 year old daughter because she is having a hard time learning the concepts of yesterday, today, tomorrow, as well as of course just how a calendar works. She loves it and enjoys helping me update it every day. We start with all the date numbers on the black side, then flip them to the red side when that day is done. Then we move the yesterday, today, tomorrow tabs. Love all the weather and holiday tabs too. Buy this calendar, you won't regret it.

We love this. My daughter is finding it very useful with her kids, both for teaching the basics but also for keeping their family organized.
